Ahoj and Bonjour!
Roadboy is a very lucky guy. I am set to begin my second bicycle vacation this year. My first two wheel adventure was a week of sightseeing in Copenhagen followed by a week on an E-bike through Sweden and then on to Helsinki. That trip included old and new friends, beautiful rides, great food and some really splendid architecture. A joy from beginning to end.
Next Friday I will journey to the Czech Republic to meet up with friends I've known for, well lets just say, a very long time. We'll enjoy a week devoted to sightseeing in and around Prague. That will include some cycling, museums, even a "dancing" building that locals refer to as Fred and Ginger!
After our week in Prague we fly to Marseilles where we will connect with other cycling buddies in Aix en Provence for a week sightseeing in Provence by bicycle.
At the end of week two we board a TGV to Paris for three days in the City of Lights. There I hope to catch whatever safe glimpse might be afforded of Notre Dame.
And then it will be time to bid everyone adieu!
With any luck my return home to Phoenix will coincide with the beginning of Arizona's usual "six months of wonderful!"
